This is the first CD of new original Slim Man Songs since...1999.

Solstice features the soul-stirring acoustic guitar of Marc Antoine on three songs, and the Slim Man band has never sounded better.

Solstice' is both a return and a departure -- a return to the studio where the first CD 'End of the Rainbow' was recorded--and a departure in that the sound is more Latin, with nylon string guitar and percussion adding that flavor.

More About Solstice:
Solstice has a killer version of Tim Hardin's "If I Were a Carpenter" as well as a moving rendition of Nik Kershaw's "Wouldn't It Be Good".

This CD also contains a song (Summer's Almost Gone) that was one of the first songs that Slim Man wrote as a songwriter for Motown Records. It was first recorded by Angela Bofill on her debut CD 'Angie'.

"Solstice...a little Latin, a lot of heart, a ton of soul."
